ok, were having trouble exporting and importing our model from revit to max, am thinking its because our file is too large so am looking at options to minimise this....might have to compromise slightly on some aspects of the building to reduce times as exporting takes about 45 min and importing took 2 hours yesterday with no happy result at the end!!!! :( will keep working at it though!

At May 23, 2009 7:26 PM , Jake said...: Your model doesn't look too complex; it definately shouldn't be taking that long to export/import. Make sure you are working off the D drive and are not creating more geometry than necessary in the curved parts during export/import. Try setting the curve steps to something quite low like 8 and see what happens.
