Welcome to my website. My name is Brad Beazley, and this website is my documentation and presentation of a study into the New Museum of Contemporary Art, often referred to throughout this site as NMOCA.

The purpose of this study is to further our understandings of digital craft through the use of multiple CAD (Computer Animated Design) programmes and the modelling / rendering of an existing piece of architecture from either the 'Museum' or 'Place of Worship' categories.

Along with this, the study aims to gather a stronger understanding of the New Museum of Contemporary Art and what the New Museum would appear like under just daylight illumination. This direction of study has been chosen due to the simple matter that so far, I have not found any images of the New Musem without it's fluorescent lighting turned on, yet I believe the daylighting from the large curtain wall at the entrance and the skylights above the galleries provide much of the great atmosphere to the space.

As mentioned above, my name is Brad Beazley. I am currently studying at Victoria University of Wellington's School of Architecture and Design, doing a Bachelor of Architecture. My project partner, Erika Wilson, is also doing this degree. To get in touch with myself, you can email me at brad.beazley@hotmail.com.

As this study is still incomplete, please return to this site at a later date
