The progress page has information regarding the process throughout which we came to a final decision as to how we will go about modelling the Nanjing Museum of Art and Architecture. We experimented with different CAD programmes such as 'Archi CAD', 'Revit' and 'AutoCAD' in order to determine which programme will be most suitable for use in creating our final model. Then renders were made to become familiar with both the light studio and mental ray rendering tools within 3ds MAX. These experimental renders can be found under the 'tutorial renders' tab and the CAD files can be downloaded from the 'Tutorial CAD files' tab.
the modelling phase of the Nanjing museum has been documneted under the 'modelling' tab with some initial renders of the model nearing completion located under the 'Revit model Renders' tab. All the CAD files for the project can be downloaded from the 'Nanjing Museum CAD Files' tab.
